This termination is specifically designed to work with PH28 Direct Vent models. It is used when venting through the side of a wall.

Use this termination when the PH28DV is mounted on a wall other than the vent penetration. When the water heater is mounted on the same wall as the vent penetration use "Sweet" termination. (see installation manual [pdf, 4.0MB] for more details)
